Premier Health urgent care seeks a Certified Medical Assistant to support Physicians and providers in patient care. You will room patients, obtain vitals, and assist with injections, EKGs, and quick procedures throughout 72 hours per pay period.

Qualifications include CMA certification, MA program completion, and CPR within 3 months. Experience in ambulatory care and EPIC EMR familiarity are highly valued by the center.

Competenze

• Must be CMA certified and graduate from an approved MA program.
• Ambulatory care experience preferred.
• CPR certification within 3 months of start date.
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR and HIPAA regulations.
• Ability to document accurately and maintain patient confidentiality.

Premier Health Urgent Care (MA or LPN)FT / 72 hours per pay periodSummary of PositionA Certified Medical Assistant for the Premier Physician Network will typically see upwards of 30 patients per day, and is responsible for general clinical and procedural patient care, under supervision of the Practice Manager and/or center Physicians/Providers. Our Certified Medical Assistants are an integral part of our offices, and are relied upon to assist in delivering the very best in Patient Experience. Every patient, every time.Nature and ScopeIndependently performed procedures may include, but is not limited to, rooming patients and collecting vitals, pulmonary function tests, administration of injections, EKGs, breathing treatments, lab testing, dressing changes, wound cleaning, hearing and vision tests, and other duties as assigned. Attention to detail and excellent documentation skills will be an ongoing expectation.Qualifications1. High School diploma or equivalent certificate2. Qualified applicants must be a Certified Medical Assistant, and will have graduated from a recognized Medical Assistant program.3. Prior experience in ambulatory health care facility preferred4. Ability to learn related center tasks and be of assistance to management and physicians.5. Self-motivated to achieve the highest patient care and customer servicestandards.6. CPR certified within the first 3 months of employment.7. Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding8. Familiarity with the EPIC EMR is strongly preferred.9. Thorough understanding of HIPAA law.
