Premier Health Family Care North is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to support physicians and care teams in a busy ambulatory setting. The CMA will room patients, collect vitals, assist with injections, EKGs, and routine tests, while ensuring accurate documentation and patient comfort.

The ideal candidate is CMA-certified, CPR-certified, knowledgeable in ICD-10/CPT coding, and experienced with EPIC EMR in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• Certified Medical Assistant with graduation from an accredited CMA program.
• CPR certified within the first 3 months of employment.
• Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding.
• HIPAA compliance understanding and ambulatory care exposure.
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR preferred.

Responsabilidades

• See upwards of 30 patients per day and perform routine clinical tasks.
• Room patients, collect vitals, and assist with procedures.
• Administer injections, perform EKGs, and pulmonary function tests.
• Dressing changes, wound care, and lab testing as assigned.
• Maintain accurate documentation and support practice operations.

Premier Health Family Care North (MA or LPN)FT / DAYS / 80 hours per paySummary of PositionA Certified Medical Assistant for the Premier Health Physician Enterprise will typically see upwards of 30 patients per day, and is responsible for general clinical and procedural patient care, under supervision of the Practice Manager and/or center Physicians/Providers.Our Certified Medical Assistants are an integral part of our offices, and are relied upon to assist in delivering the very best in Patient Experience. Every patient, every time.Nature and ScopeIndependently performed procedures may include, but is not limited to, rooming patients and collecting vitals, pulmonary function tests, administration of injections, EKGs, breathing treatments, lab testing, dressing changes, wound cleaning, hearing and vision tests, and other duties as assigned. Attention to detail and excellent documentation skills will be an ongoing expectation.Qualifications1. High School diploma or equivalent certificate2. Qualified applicants must be a Certified Medical Assistant, and will have graduated from a recognized Medical Assistant program.3. Prior experience in ambulatory health care facility preferred4. Ability to learn related center tasks and be of assistance to management and physicians.5. Self-motivated to achieve the highest patient care and customer servicestandards.6. CPR certified within the first 3 months of employment.7. Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding8. Familiarity with the EPIC EMR is strongly preferred.9. Thorough understanding of HIPAA law.
