We are seeking qualified candidates for the position of Medical Assistant or LPN in our Cardiology department at Premier Health Partners.

Position Summary

A Certified Medical Assistant at Premier Physician Network typically sees over 30 patients daily. The role involves general clinical and procedural patient care under supervision of the Practice Manager and/or center Physicians/Providers. Our Certified Medical Assistants are vital to our team, contributing to delivering exceptional patient experiences.

Job Details

• Location: Premier Cardiovascular Institute: MVHN
• Full-time, Days, 80 hours per pay period

Responsibilities

Procedures may include, but are not limited to, rooming patients, collecting vitals, pulmonary function tests, injections, EKGs, breathing treatments, lab testing, dressing changes, wound cleaning, hearing and vision tests, and other duties as assigned. Attention to detail and excellent documentation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Certified Medical Assistant with graduation from a recognized program
• Prior experience in ambulatory healthcare preferred
• Ability to learn new tasks and assist management and physicians
• Self-motivated with a focus on patient care and customer service
• CPR certification within first 3 months of employment
• Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR preferred
• Understanding of HIPAA law
