Job summary

Agile Occupational Medicine is seeking a Medical Assistant to support onsite employer events in the San Diego area. You will obtain vital signs, perform respirator fit testing, conduct drug and alcohol testing, and draw blood when ordered, delivering high-quality care and a positive patient experience.

PRN schedule, flexible coverage for onsite events, with compensation starting at $22–$24 per hour. Certification CMA/RMA preferred; two years blood draw experience required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant program.
• Certification as a CMA or RMA preferred.
• Minimum of two years of blood draw experience required.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and accurately document patient vital signs.
• Perform respirator fit testing following established protocols.
• Conduct drug and alcohol testing per company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Perform blood draws when appropriate orders exist.
• Support onsite occupational health services and client requests as needed.
• Maintain documentation in accordance with standards and regulations.
• Adhere to infection control and safety guidelines at all times.

Must be flexible to cover employer onsites throughout the San Diego area.

Compensation

Starting compensation range is $22.00-$24.00 hourly. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant program required.
• Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred.
• Minimum of two years of recent, hands-on blood draw experience required.
