Job summary

Rothman Orthopaedics in Bryn Mawr, PA is seeking a full-time Non-Surgical Clinical Assistant to support physicians and physician assistants with daily clinical and administrative duties. The role requires travel to Blue Bell and King of Prussia offices and features a day shift, typically 7:30 AM to 4 PM.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, MA certification preferred, and experience with EMR systems.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED minimum education requirement.
National Medical Assistant certification preferred.
Professional license/certification must be active and valid.
Knowledge of medical office procedures and medical terminology.
Computer skills including, but not limited to, MS Office Suite.
Experience with EMR system(s) preferred.

Responsibilities

Greets patients in the waiting room and escorts them to the exam room.
Maintains order, cleanliness, and inventory in the exam room, and prepares exam room for patients to enter.
Cleans and autoclaves instruments.
Provides and scans proper paperwork to the chart for Physician's review.
Records vitals as per Physician's request.
Prepares injections for the Physician.
