Qualifications

• Diploma from an accredited Medical Assistant program or CT CNA/EMT/Paramedic certification.
• Certified BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association within 3 months of hire date.
• All required credentials maintained throughout employment.
• At least 1 year of direct patient care experience or MA externship preferred.
• EPIC EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive and document patient information; support provider with vitals and history.
• Assist with in-house procedures and care under supervision.
• Prepare patients for treatments and examinations; float to other offices as needed.
• Support admissions and daily census tracking; coordinate with ED/ICU and other services.
