Job summary

The role requires completion of a Medical Assistant program (or externship) and 0–1 years in a medical practice setting. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of medical office procedures and patient care techniques.
• Basic proficiency in computer applications and EMR systems.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Assists providers with non-invasive medical procedures and takes vital signs.
• Prepares and cleans exam rooms for visits and procedures.
• Performs patient intake, reports test results, and triages calls.
• Maintains daily logs and documentation and supports scheduling and referrals.
• Monitors supplies and educates patients on medications and health topics.
• Maintains regular attendance and adheres to clinic policies.
