Job summary

TriHealth Rheumatology is seeking a Medical Assistant to support physicians in examination and treatment, performing delegated duties and vital signs. You will help prepare treatment rooms, document in charts, and assist cross-functionally to ensure efficient patient care.

The ideal candidate is a graduate of an approved program with RMA or CMA credentials and CPR, plus 1–2 years in a physician office. EKG, injections, venipuncture experience preferred; travel to Medical Specialties locations

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved technical, professional, or vocational program.
• Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) through AMT/NCCT/NHA.
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) by AAMA and CPR.
• Current RN/LPN licensure, or Respiratory Therapist credential acceptable.
• 1–2 years experience in a physician office or related setting.
• EKG, injections, venipuncture.

Responsibilities

• Provides support to physicians/clinical staff.
• Performs tests and specimens per procedures.
• Performs technical skills per hospital policies and standards.
• Maintains efficiency, organization, and time management.
• Documents patient care in chart and maintains confidentiality.
• Cross-trains to enhance efficiency and continuity of care.
