Job summary

Dayton Gastroenterology, Inc. is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to join our Beavercreek clinic. Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM with no nights, weekends, or holidays.

You’ll support physicians, collect specimens, document vitals, and help manage patient flow and scheduling. Ideal candidates have MA experience, knowledge of medical terminology, and BLS certification. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous Medical Assistant experience preferred.
• BLS/CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Measure vital signs and document in patient chart.
• Collect specimens for laboratory analysis as needed.
• Obtain health history and update patient records.
• Assist physician during office visits and emergencies.
• Manage prescriptions and referrals under physician direction.
• Answer patient questions and schedule visits and tests.
