Job summary

Dayton Gastroenterology is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant for our Beavercreek clinic. We offer a stable schedule, no nights, weekends, or holidays, and a supportive, inclusive team focused on professional growth.

Qualified candidates have MA experience, medical vocabulary knowledge, and BLS/CPR certification; on-the-job training available and certification not required initially. We provide education reimbursement and strong benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS/CPR certification required or obtained within 90 days of employment.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology and pathophysiology.
• Previous Medical Assistant experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Measure vital signs and document in patient charts.
• Collect specimens for laboratory analysis as applicable.
• Obtain and record patient health history.
• Assist physicians during office visits and emergencies.
• Manage prescriptions and referrals as directed.
• Answer patient questions and schedule visits and tests.

Must be able to assist physician in an emergency.Manage patient prescriptions as directed by physician.Manage referrals as directed by physician.Answer patient questions.
