Job summary

UroHealth Partners in Omaha, NE seeks a Medical Assistant to support Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers, rooming patients, taking vitals, drawing labs, and assisting with in-office procedures.

This full-time, in-person role offers a supportive team, opportunities for growth, and the chance to contribute to high-quality patient care; requires MA certification and BLS, plus EMR experience.

Qualifications

• Certification or Registration in medical assisting.
• Friendly and people-oriented.
• Good communication skills, including telephone etiquette.
• Ability to use a Personal Computer.
• Team player mentality, working cooperatively with co-workers to ensure back-office responsibilities are completed.

Responsibilities

• Room patients for Providers in our clinic and procedure rooms and prepare them for indicated exams.
• Review patient charts prior to visits to ensure all necessary information is available.
• Perform IM and subcutaneous injections.
• Assist with various office procedures as directed by physicians.
• Perform patient tasks such as scheduling appointments and obtaining outside records.
• Ensure exam rooms are stocked and ready for clinic visits.
• Assist with miscellaneous tasks as assigned by supervisors or physicians.
• Working in an Electronic Medical Record System (EMR)
