Job summary

International Executive Service Corps seeks a Medical Assistant to support patient care in our clinic during office hours. The MA will report to the physician/provider and office team to assist with routine clinical duties and patient flow.

Minimum qualification is completion of a Medical Assistant program, with verification at hire. Preferred candidates have 1–2 years of experience in a physician's office, preferably in primary care.

DEFINITION:

The Medical Assistant (MA) is accountable for assisting in the delivery of patient care in the clinic during office hours. The medical assistant is accountable to the Physician/Provider, Office Supervisor, Department Director, patient and family for patient care functions. Patient population includes: all age groups to include children, adolescents, adults and geriatrics.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Graduated from a Medical Assistant Program. Provides documentation showing completion of the medical assistant program; which needs to be presented at time of hire allowing the hospital to verify completion.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

One to two years physicians’ office experience, as a MA, preferably primary care.
