United Hospital Center is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide basic nursing support under supervision of physicians and registered nurses. Responsibilities include patient intake, room preparation, exams assistance, and documentation.
The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, completion of a Medical Assistant program (or 1 year clinical experience), and BLS certification within 30 days of hire. It supports a 40-hour workweek with day shifts.
Performs basic nursing skills, and/or serves under the direction and supervision of the practice physician and/or registered nursing staff.
