Job description

• LOCAL MA'S ONLY. Must be within 50-minute commute during traffic
• Interviews are scheduled by the client and done on-site and in person
• Location : 8635W. 3rd Street, Suite 590W and 915E, Los Angeles, CA 90048 Required Qualifications :
• Medical Assistant Certificate / Diploma from a DAPIP accredited program OR national certification through AAMA, AMCA, AMT, CCBMA, or MMCI.
• Demonstrated ability to prepare patients for examination by performing preliminary physical tests, taking blood pressure, weight, and temperature, and reporting patient history summaries
• 2+ years working as a MA Preferred Qualifications :
• Experience with medical insurance, referral processes, and benefit plans
• Experience with CS-Link / Epic
• Understanding of medical terminology
• ENT experience Job Duties :
• Greet patients, take appropriate vital signs, review current meds and record in medical record
• Assist with tracking and monitoring department specific data
• Explain policies, procedures, or services to patients based on scope of practice
• Set up exam / procedure rooms appropriate to the patient visit needs
• Clean and re-process equipment and supplies following department guidelines
• Administer immunizations, injections, or oral medications as directed by provider
