Job summary

Lovelace Health System is hiring a Medical Assistant (MA) for Urgent Care Osuna & Jefferson in Albuquerque, NM. This is a full-time, variable shift position with opportunities for growth and support from a dedicated clinical team.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, EMR and MS Office familiarity, and BLS certification within 14 days of hire. Preferred candidates may have an associate’s degree and CMA/RMA certification.

Qualifications

• Basic EMR and MS Office knowledge.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer.

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Basic Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and Microsoft Office knowledge.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Preferred Job Requirements:

• Associate’s degree.
• Graduated from an accredited medical assistant/medical technologist school/program.
• Prior experience in a clinic or hospital setting supporting patient care.
• Current national certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA).
