St. Luke's Hospital is seeking a Medical Assistant to perform clinical duties in physician practices. You will room patients, document vital signs, administer injections and medications, and perform EKGs and point-of-care testing under supervision.

You will triage calls and messages and assist with check-out, contributing to a collaborative care team. Position offers a comprehensive benefits package starting day one, and a sign-on bonus is available.

Competenze

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Prior medical-assistant experience in vital-sign accuracy, EKGs, medication administration and immunizations.

Mansioni

• Room patients and document vital signs accurately.
• Administer injections and medications and perform basic injections.
• Perform EKGs and other point-of-care testing and treatments.
• Triage phone calls and electronic messages from patients.

Position Summary

Perform clinical duties in physician practices under the direction of the practice manager and physicians. Responsible for rooming patients, obtaining and documenting vital signs, administering injections and medications, performing EKGs and other point-of-care testing and treatments, triaging phone calls and electronic messages, and performing check‑out duties. Promote teamwork with all members of the healthcare team. Perform duties in a manner consistent with St. Luke’s mission and values.

Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience: Previous medical‑assistant experience in vital‑sign accuracy, EKGs, medication administration, and immunizations
