St. Luke’s Hospital is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our physician practice teams. The role involves rooming patients, obtaining and documenting vital signs, and assisting with injections, medications, EKGs, and point-of-care testing.

You will triage calls and messages, support clinical workflow, and help with check-out duties as part of a collaborative health care team. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with prior medical assistant experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous medical assistant experience preferred.
• Experience with vital signs and EKGs is required.

Responsabilités

• Performs clinical duties in physician practices under the direction of the practice manager and physicians, including rooming patients and documenting vital signs.
• Administers injections and medications and performs EKGs and other point-of-care testing and treatments.
• Triages phone calls and electronic messages and assists with check-out duties.

Position Summary:
