Edward Elmhurst Health in Vernon Hills, IL is seeking a Medical Assistant for our Primary Care team. This full-time role rotates hours between 6:30am and 6:30pm, Monday through Friday, with travel to other sites as needed.

You will greet patients, record vitals, document medical history, and provide front office support. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, CPR certification, and 1 year of healthcare experience; CMA/MA certification is preferred but not required.

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; graduated from an accredited medical assisting program preferred.
• Certification: CPR certification through the American Heart Association required; CMA/MA certification preferred but not required.
• Experience: One year of work experience in a medical office or related field preferred; on-the-job training provided.

Responsabilidades

• Greet patients and escort them to exam rooms.
• Document vital signs, allergies, medications, and reason for visit.
• Provide front office support as needed.
• Perform basic vitals such as BP, height, and weight; assist with phlebotomy and injections if required.
