Actual compensation offered ranges from $21.45 - $32.20 for an MA or $23.65 - $35.50 for an LPN, based on qualifications, skills, experience, and training.

Major Responsibilities

1. Prepare and room patients for exams by obtaining vital signs and gathering pertinent health information.
2. Perform laboratory procedures using aseptic techniques and infection control guidelines.
3. Assist physicians or APCs with various procedures such as pelvic exams, allergy testing, etc.
4. Administer routine medications under physician orders or approved protocols.
5. Follow through with tests, referrals, and appointment scheduling, communicating effectively with team members and patients.
6. Perform clinical support tasks such as suture removal, phlebotomy, EKG, and others as competent and supervised.
7. Provide age-appropriate care, demonstrating knowledge of growth and development principles.

Licensure or Certifications

LPN: State-issued Practical Nurse license and BLS certification within 45 days.

MA: Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or recent verifiable experience.

Degrees

LPN: Practical Nursing program completion.

MA: Accredited Medical Assistant program completion or 2 years recent experience.
