Responsibilities include assisting practitioners in procedures, managing telephone prescription orders/refills, maintaining patient records, and relaying test results.

Department Description

The Women's Health teams at Samaritan Health Services offer a comprehensive range of OB/GYN care, including well-woman exams, contraception management, obstetric care, breast milk bank, infertility treatment, menopause and hormones, continence therapy, pelvic prolapse therapy and repair, treatment for uterine and menstrual disorders, gynecologic cancers, and gynecologic/urologic surgery.

Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Registered or Certified Medical Assistant.
  • Healthcare Provider BLS certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous medical back office experience or completion of a Medical Assistant/Certified Medical Assistant program.
  • Experience in applicable specialty area.
  • Lab/EKG experience.
