Position Overview

National Jewish Health is seeking a Medical Assistant (MA) to support our Employee Health and Infection Prevention Programs. This role involves clinical and administrative tasks aimed at ensuring workforce health and safety, including:

  • Conducting health assessments and managing medical records.
  • Administering vaccines and tracking compliance.
  • Collaborating with departments to improve infection prevention.
  • Organizing health promotion events.
Essential Duties
  • Assist with employee health assessments, vital signs, vision screening, and specimen collection.
  • Support post-exposure evaluations and follow-ups.
  • Maintain documentation for audits, inspections, and compliance.
  • Participate in training sessions and organize health initiatives like blood drives and awareness campaigns.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma/GED and graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
  • Minimum of 2 years healthcare experience, preferably in infection prevention or employee health.
  • CPR/BLS certification required.
Additional Information

Salary Range: $25.04 - $33.11
