Medical Assistant/MA-C - Primary Care at Swedish Pine Lake Primary Care

Schedule: Full time, Monday – Friday

Location: Sammamish, WA

Job description:

As a Medical Assistant/MA-C, you’ll assist with administrative and clinical tasks such as scheduling appointments, updating information in EPIC, and taking patients’ vital signs during appointments. Our clinical environments foster teamwork and provide pathways to leadership for MAs interested in advancing their careers.

Required Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited school with hands-on clinical training for medical assistants, or
  • Graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program, or
  • Completed two years of medical training in the U.S. Armed Forces, or
  • At least one year of work experience as a medical assistant performing clinical skills such as obtaining vital signs, administering injections, and medication administration

Upon hire: Washington Medical Assistant Certification

Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

Minimum 6 months healthcare experience

Minimum 6 months medical assistant experience

Preferred Qualifications:
  • National Medical Assistant Certification (upon hire)
