Medical Assistant/MA-C – Primary Care at Swedish Primary Care - Redmond

Schedule: Full Time, Monday to Friday

Location: Redmond, Washington

Job description:

As a Medical Assistant (MA-C), you will assist with administrative and clinical tasks such as scheduling appointments, updating patient information in EPIC, and taking vital signs during appointments. Required Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited school with hands-on clinical training in medical assisting
  • Completion of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program
  • Or, two years of medical training in the U.S. Armed Forces
  • Or, at least one year of clinical experience as a medical assistant, including vital signs, injections, and medication administration
  • Washington Medical Assistant Certification upon hire
  • American Heart Association BLS certification within 30 days of hire
  • At least 6 months of healthcare experience
  • At least 6 months of medical assistant experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • National Medical Assistant Certification upon hire
