Medical Assistant/MA-C – Midwifery at Swedish Midwifery - First Hill

Schedule: Full Time, Monday to Friday

Location: First Hill area of Seattle, Washington

Job description:

As a Medical Assistant (MA-C), you’ll assist with administrative and clinical tasks such as scheduling appointments, updating information in EPIC, and taking patients’ vital signs during appointments. Required qualifications:

  • Graduate from an accredited school with hands-on clinical training for medical assistants, or
  • Graduate from a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program, or
  • Completed two years of medical training in the U.S. Armed Forces, or
  • At least one year of work experience as a medical assistant with skills in vital signs, injections, and medication administration
  • Washington Medical Assistant Certification upon hire
  • National Provider BLS certification (American Heart Association) within 30 days of hire
  • Six months of healthcare experience
  • Six months of medical assistant experience

Preferred qualifications:

  • National Medical Assistant Certification upon hire
