Western Montana Clinic is hiring two full-time Medical Assistants (MA) for the Family Medicine and OB/Gyn departments. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm, with no weekends or evenings.

The MA will welcome patients, perform intake assessments, assist during procedures, monitor medications, perform phlebotomy, and manage patient communications. Benefits include health and life insurance, PTO, 401(k) match, and voluntary options.

Qualifications

• Completion of Certified/Registered Medical Assistant program; certification within 6 months of hire.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer knowledge and proficiency.

Responsabilités

• Greet patients and prepare them for visits.
• Take medical history and vital signs.
• Assist during procedures.
• Monitor, document, and administer medications and immunizations.
• Perform phlebotomy and point-of-care testing.
• Manage patient portal (MyChart) communications.
• Participate in patient education.
• Coordinate referrals and prescriptions.
• Support ongoing care and contribute to patient experience.

We are seeking two full-time Medical Assistants MA:

1. Family Medicine department at the Broadway building downtown

2. OB/Gyn department at the Fort Missoula location

Schedule - Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm, no weekends or evenings

The Medical Assistant MA will:

• Welcome patients and prepare them for their health care visit
• Complete intake assessments including medical history and vital signs
• Assist during procedures
• Monitor, document, and administer medications and immunizations
• Perform phlebotomy and point of care laboratory testing
• Manage and prioritize patient portal (MyChart) and telephone communications
• Participate in and support patient education
• Coordinate ongoing care including referrals and prescriptions
• Play an essential role in fulfilling our mission
• Heighten the patient experience by providing extraordinary care

Minimum Requirements of the Medical Assistant MA position:

• Completion of Certified/Registered Medical Assistant program (must become certified within 6 month of hire) medical assistant experience preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic computer knowledge and proficiency
