Job summary

One Health in Sheridan, WY seeks a Medical Assistant to join our Hardin clinic team. This entry level role offers training and growth within a nonprofit FQHC setting. You will support clinicians, enter data in the EHR, prepare rooms, and assist with basic procedures.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, and a willingness to learn. Phlebotomy certification and CMA/RMA or CNA license are a plus; two years of clinical experience preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

One Health, a community health nonprofit, is looking for a Medical Assistant to join our Hardin clinic team! If you have experience working with patients, we'd love to hear from you. Don’t have healthcare experience? No problem! This is a fantastic entry level position to help get your foot in the door if your career goals involve healthcare. We will provide the necessary tools and training to be successful.

Position: Medical Assistant (Hiring for 2 Positions)
Location: Sheridan WY
Type: Full-Time: 40 hrs/week (Mon-Fri 7:30am - 4:30pm with a one-hour lunch)

Salary: $18.80-$19.58/hr

Key Responsibilities:

What we are looking for:

• High school diploma, or equivalent, and a valid driver's license are required.

• Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) or a CNA license is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems is preferred.
• Two year's Previous experience in a clinical setting, preferably in an FQHC or similar environment is preferred.
