Job summary

Ardent Health Services seeks a full-time Medical Assistant for a rotating-shift Family Practice Clinic in Verona, NJ. The MA will perform clinical and administrative tasks as part of a care team led by a physician or advanced practice provider.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, basic EMR and Microsoft Office skills, and BLS certification within 14 days of hire. Preferred: an associate’s degree, MA program credential, prior clinic/hospital experience, CMA or RMA certification.

Qualifications

• Basic Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and Microsoft Office knowledge.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
