Job summary

USA Clinics Group is seeking a Medical Assistant to balance the needs of patients and support the physician in all facets of medical procedures, ensuring an excellent service experience.

Locations include Paramus, Passaic, Orange, and Union City. Schedule is Monday–Sunday, full-time (one weekend day). Compensation is $21–$25 per hour, with bilingual English/Spanish fluency required and paid training provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years of hands-on clinical experience in medical assisting required.
• Experience with vital signs, phlebotomy, EKGs, injections, and specimen collection required.
• Completion of MA training program; CMA/RMA/CCMA certification preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English required.
• Experience with EMR/EHR systems is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Greet, room, and assist patients upon arrival.
• Obtain and document patient vital signs and medical histories in EMR/EHR.
• Perform phlebotomy, EKGs, injections, and specimen collection within scope.
• Document patient interactions in EMR/EHR systems.
• Deliver excellent patient service in a fast-paced clinic.
• Support patient care across physician offices, clinics, urgent care centers, pharmacies, hospitals, or home health environments.
• Leverage bilingual communication to support patient interactions.

Position Summary:

As a Medical Assistant, you would balance the needs of patients and maintain efficient work flow of the office as well as provide support to the physician in all facets of medical procedures – before during and after. In addition, you would ensure that the patient has an excellent service experience.

Position Details:

• Schedule: Monday - Sunday, full-time hours. (must be willing to work 1 weekend day per week)

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet, room, and assist patients upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming and positive patient experience.
• Obtain and document patient vital signs, medical histories, and other clinical information in the electronic medical record (EMR/EHR).
• Perform clinical tasks such as phlebotomy, EKGs, injections/vaccinations, specimen collection, and other duties within scope of training and certification.
• Accurately document patient interactions and clinical information using EMR/EHR systems.
• Deliver exceptional patient service while managing a high volume of patient interactions in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Utilize EMR/EHR platforms such as Epic, Athenahealth, eClinicalWorks, or similar systems.
• Support patient care within a healthcare setting, including physician offices, clinics, urgent care centers, pharmacies, hospitals, or home health environments.
• Leverage bilingual communication skills to support patient interactions when applicable.

• High School Diploma or equivalent,required.
• 1-2 years of hands-on clinical experienceas a Medical Assistant or in a similar direct patient care role (e.g., Medical Assistant externship, CNA, HHA, Nursing Assistant, or Patient Care Technician),required.
• Experience performing clinical duties such asvital signs, patient rooming, phlebotomy, EKGs, injections, and specimen collection,required.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant training program and/or currentCMA, RMA, or CCMA certification preferred.
• Proven patient-facing or customer service experience in a fast-paced environment,required.
• Fluency in Spanish & English required
