Job summary

Meridian Clinic in Meridian, Idaho is seeking a Medical Assistant/LPN to join our daytime, full-time team. You will provide direct patient care alongside our providers and help maintain accurate medical records within the Patient-Centered Medical Home framework.

Qualifications include completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or LPN credential, current certification, and previous clinic experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant training program or LPN from an accredited college.
• Entry level; prior MA or LPN experience preferred in a primary care setting.
• Current certifications and immunizations as required for healthcare staff.

Purpose

The Medical Assistant (MA) shall be accountable for 1) providing excellent direct patient care alongside our providers, 2) supporting the Patient Centered Medical Home model of care and 3) maintaining accurate and complete documentation within the patient's medical record.

Schedule

Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm with the opportunity for rotating Saturday and evening shifts.

QualificationsEducation

Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant training program or LPN from accredited College of Nursing.

Licensure / Certification

Currently certified by American Medical Technologists, American Association of Medical Assistants, American Registry of Medical Assistants, Licensed Practical Nurse or other accredited certifying organization.

Experience

• Entry level; previous medical assistant or LPN experience preferred.
• Previous experience in a primary care clinic / outpatient setting preferred.
