Job summary

Aurora Medical Group in West Allis, WI is seeking Medical Assistant/LPN staff for a full-time, 32-hour work week in an outpatient oncology setting. The role involves supporting providers, coordinating patient flow, and delivering compassionate care.

Position requires MA program or LPN training with BLS; schedule is Monday–Friday 8:00 am–4:30 pm, no weekends or holidays, with a flexible day off (Wed or Thu) to maintain coverage.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required or to be obtained within 45 days if not already held.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent experience.
• LPN license issued by the practicing state.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and support their transition into care.
• Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and health screenings.
• Prepare patients for exams and assist providers during procedures.
• Administer medications and vaccines as directed.
• Perform lab-related tasks including specimen collection and point-of-care testing.
• Document care accurately in the electronic health record.
• Partner with physicians, nurses, and teammates to deliver high-quality, coordinated care.
