Ozarks Community Hospital (OCH) in Springfield, MO, is seeking a Medical Assistant (MA) to join the Long Term Care Medical Home department. The MA provides direct and indirect patient care, supports care plans, and collaborates with physicians and nurses.

Requirements include a high school diploma, completion of a CNA/MA/LPN/LVN program, and current BLS certification. The role reports to the Director of Medicare Programs and involves enrollment and billing support for Chronic Care Management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of a CNA, MA, or LPN/LVN program required.
• Current BLS certification at hire or during orientation.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct and indirect patient care in partnership with regional long term care facilities.
• Maintain care standards reflecting licensure and facility policies.
• Communicate with providers and team about patient conditions and diagnostic results.
• Oversee Chronic Care Management enrollment, follow-up, documentation, and billing procedures.
