Job summary

BHMG Occupational Medicine at Newtown Pike seeks a Full-Time Medical Assistant with LMR or Radiologic Technology background. The role supports clinicians by collecting patient data, performing radiographic exams, and coordinating care with ARNPs and nurses.

Strong EMR involvement and patient interaction are essential. The position requires active ARRT and KROC within 90 days, BCLS certification, and the ability to assist with radiology procedures.

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant education or experience.
• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or LMR.
• Active ARRT and KROC within 90 days of hire.
• BCLS certified.
• Radiologic Technology, x-ray imaging, digital imaging, RIS, Radiology Information System, Radiographic Procedures.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with patients to determine health changes since last visit and record in EMR.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in department.
• Record and chart information for individual cases.
• Perform radiographic exams as required.
• Assist physicians and nurses with patient care, exams, and procedures.
• Obtain and record vital signs and report abnormal readings.
• Schedule and obtain insurance authorizations for medications.
