Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Medical Assistant/ Radiologic Technician with LMR experience or a new graduate to support staff and physicians. You will collect pertinent patient information needed to determine physical and psychological needs, and assist with treatments and radiographic exams under supervision.

You will document in EMR, maintain exam room readiness, assist with exams and procedures, obtain vital signs, and coordinate with nurses and ARNPs while ensuring efficient patient flow.

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant education or experience required.
• Graduate of Radiologic Technology or LMR; ARRT and KROC within 90 days.
• BCLS certified; familiarity with RIS, x-ray imaging and digital imaging.

Responsibilities

• Collect patient information to determine health needs.
• Perform radiographic exams as required.
• Maintain clean, ready exam rooms and proper charting.
• Assist physicians, ARNPs and nurses with exams and procedures.
