Job summary

Behavioral Health Group - BHG is seeking a compassionate Medical Assistant to support patient-centered care in a fully on-site role. You will perform laboratory procedures, collect vital signs, health assessments, and assist with scheduling to promote continuity of care.

This position in Brooklyn Park, MN offers a daytime schedule 5:30 AM to 2:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with a competitive hourly pay of $19.00–$21.00 plus bonus potential.

Qualifications

• Active Medical Assistant certification required.
• OSHA knowledge and phlebotomy procedures preferred.
• Strong communication, decision-making, and computer skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide care by obtaining vital signs, health assessments, TB testing, and blood specimen collection.
• Collect, process, and ship laboratory specimens accurately and safely for diagnostic testing.
• Coordinate exam scheduling, annual physicals, and monthly testing lists to promote continuity of care.
• Maintain laboratory supplies and equipment; ensure documentation is accurate and confidential.
• Foster a clean, organized, sanitary environment to support patient safety and quality care.
• Collaborate with clinical team members on lab testing and patient care.
