Emplify Health is hiring a Medical Assistant in Internal Medicine in La Crosse, WI. This role focuses on greeting patients, updating records, taking vitals, and assisting clinicians with examinations and procedures.

Qualifications

• BLS for healthcare workers is required or strongly preferred.
• Graduate of a Medical Assistant program, Practical Nursing program, or Vocational Nurse program or eligible for NCLEX-PN.
• Medical Assistant Certification within 15 months of hire date.

Responsabilités

• Provide LOVE + MEDICINE to patients by greeting them warmly and setting the tone for appointments.
• Update patient information in charting systems.
• Take vitals.
• Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during visits and procedures.

• .9 FTE, 72 hours bi-weekly

• Monday through Friday (no weekends or holidays!)

• Location: La Crosse Clinic

What you will do:

• Provide LOVE + MEDICINE to our patients by greeting them with a warm and welcoming smile and setting the tone for their appointments

• Update patient information in charting systems

• Take vitals

• Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during office visits and procedures.

Administer injections and immunization

Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice clinicians, nurses, and other team members to deliver exceptional patient care

What you need:

• BLS for healthcare workers

• Graduate of a Medical Assistant program, Practical Nursing program or Vocational Nurse program or have completed education to be eligible for NCLEX-PN Or High School Diploma or equivalency and attained a Medical Assistant Certification

• Medical Assistant Certification within 15 months of hire date.
