Qualifications
- Certified/Registered Medical Assistant
- Experience in a medical office setting
- Excellent communication skills
- Willingness to learn and grow professionally
Responsibilities
- Provide immunizations, take vitals, assist with exams, and perform clinical/clerical duties.
- Prepare patients and assist physicians with procedures.
- Manage patient records, handle referrals, and coordinate laboratory services.
- Perform tests, administer injections, and prepare exam rooms.
- Support physicians with treatments and procedures.
- Maintain inventory and ensure cleanliness and readiness of equipment.
Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Program
- Current Medical Assistant Certification (AAMA, AMT, NHA, or NCCT)
- CPR and BLS certifications
- Ability to communicate effectively, maintain confidentiality, and demonstrate professionalism.
Physical and Mental Requirements
- Lift and push up to 50 pounds
- Stand and sit for extended periods
- Use fine motor skills and operate office equipment
- Travel between locations as needed
