Responsibilities

• Provide immunizations, take vitals, assist with exams, and perform clinical and clerical duties.
• Prepare patients for visits, perform tests, and manage documentation.
• Handle patient communication, referrals, and laboratory arrangements.
• Assist with medical treatments, procedures, and maintaining equipment and supplies.
• Manage messages, prior authorizations, and patient calls.

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Program
• Current Medical Assistant Certification (AAMA, AMT, NHA, or NCCT)
• CPR and BLS certifications
• Ability to communicate effectively and maintain confidentiality
• Knowledge of medical terminology and practices
• Organized, attentive to detail, and able to work efficiently
• Computer literacy (Microsoft Office)
• Physical ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds, and stand or sit for extended periods
• Willingness to travel between locations as needed
