Responsibilities
- Provide immunizations, take vitals, assist with exams, and perform clinical and clerical duties.
- Prepare patients for visits, perform tests, and manage documentation.
- Handle patient communication, referrals, and laboratory arrangements.
- Assist with medical treatments, procedures, and maintaining equipment and supplies.
- Manage messages, prior authorizations, and patient calls.
Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Program
- Current Medical Assistant Certification (AAMA, AMT, NHA, or NCCT)
- CPR and BLS certifications
- Ability to communicate effectively and maintain confidentiality
- Knowledge of medical terminology and practices
- Organized, attentive to detail, and able to work efficiently
- Computer literacy (Microsoft Office)
- Physical ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds, and stand or sit for extended periods
- Willingness to travel between locations as needed
