Requirements
  • Medical Assistant certification
  • Experience in a medical office setting

Responsibilities
  • Administer immunizations, take vitals, prepare patients for exams.
  • Assist with clinical and clerical duties, including documentation and patient records.
  • Support physicians during treatments and procedures.
  • Manage inventory and maintain exam rooms.
  • Perform tests, prepare equipment, and ensure patient comfort.
  • Handle communications, prior authorizations, and referrals.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Program
  • Current Medical Assistant Certification (AAMA, AMT, NHA, NCCT)
  • CPR and BLS certifications
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and practices
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
  • Computer literacy with Microsoft Office
Physical and Mental Requirements
  • Ability to lift and push up to 50 pounds
  • Extended sitting and standing
  • Use of fine motor skills for equipment operation
  • Effective verbal and written communication
  • Ability to travel between locations if needed
