Scott County Jail seeks a Medical Assistant to support physicians and nursing staff, performing diagnostics, injections, lab tests, and patient intake.

You will prepare rooms, assist with examinations, collect specimens, conduct screenings, and handle clerical duties while ensuring safety and confidentiality.

Applicants should have MA training; CMA/RMA preferred; valid driver's license required; shift hours may vary.

Qualifications

• High school graduation or equivalent and MA program completion.
• CMA or RMA certification/registration preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.

Responsabilités

• Assist physician and nursing staff with examinations and minor procedures.
• Prepare carts and supplies for medications administration.
• Collect, prepare and perform designated laboratory tests as ordered.
• Conduct health screenings (BP, height, weight, vision, hearing).
• Provide patient education on medications and health resources.
• Assist with clerical duties including scheduling, charting and ROI forms.
