Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree in Medical Assisting preferred.
• 1–2 years direct MA or medical field experience required.
• BLS Certification and CMA preferred if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Take vital signs and record patient information in the medical record.
• Interview patients to obtain medical information, measure weight and height.
• Explain treatments and medications to patients and provide education materials.
• Perform phlebotomy and collect blood or other specimens as trained.
• Assist with scheduling, patient flow, and basic office duties; liaise with departments to support patients.
