Delta Medical Clinic in Burleson, TX is seeking a compassionate Medical Assistant to join our Internal Medicine practice. You will work with physicians and clinicians to deliver high-quality patient care in a busy outpatient setting.

The role combines front-office and clinical duties, including vital signs, EKGs, phlebotomy, injections, and EMR documentation using eClinicalWorks. A strong focus on patient service, teamwork, and accurate record-keeping is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of hands-on Medical Assistant clinical experience in outpatient settings such as Internal Medicine or Family Practice.
• 2+ years of phlebotomy and injection administration experience.
• Current American Heart Association CPR/BLS certification.
• Proficiency in patient intake, vital signs, clinical documentation, and routine office procedures.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, manage check-in/check-out, and maintain a welcoming reception environment.
• Wrap clinical duties: room patients, document vital signs, med lists, allergies; administer injections and vaccines as ordered.
• Perform EKGs, ABI testing, spirometry, venipuncture, and CLIA-waived lab testing.
• Support front-office tasks: scheduling, insurance verification, collecting co-pays, communicating with patients.
