Forum Health LLC seeks a Medical Assistant to support both the Orem and West Jordan clinics in Utah. You will guide patients on their personalized journey, coordinate appointments, gather histories, and assist with procedures in a fast-paced, compassionate environment.

Salary ranges from $17.00 to $20.00 per hour. The role requires MA certification (preferred) and a high school diploma or GED, with work in Orem and West Jordan locations. Applicants must be eligible to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 years of experience as a medical assistant.
• MA certification highly preferred.
• Visa sponsorship: Applicant must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule patient appointments, greet patients, and answer calls.
• Gather a thorough medical history, including vitals and BMI, and update patient records.
• Chart medical notes during provider visits using the SOAP method.
• Schedule and order lab tests, contact patients about results, and update records.
• Train and obtain identified certifications for medical practice equipment and devices.
• Assist in procedures and set up medical equipment.
• Manage medical faxes and handle prior authorizations for medications.
• Refill medications as directed and coordinate with the patient’s pharmacy.
