Forum Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to support our Orem and West Jordan clinics. You will guide patients on their personalized health journeys, coordinate appointments, and maintain accurate medical records.

This role requires professionalism, a calm demeanor, and strong attention to detail. The position supports both UT clinics with a schedule that varies by location and includes ongoing training for practice devices and certifications.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 years of medical assistant experience.
• MA certification preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate and schedule patient appointments and follow-ups.
• Greet patients and manage front-desk communications.
• Collect vitals and BMI prior to visits and update patient records.
• Chart medical notes using SOAP method.
• Manage lab orders, lab communications, and patient records.
• Train on and obtain certifications for medical equipment.
• Assist in procedures and equipment setup.
• Handle faxes and prior authorizations for medications.
• Refill medications as directed and coordinate with pharmacies.

Conocimientos

1-3 years medical assistant experience

MA certification preferred

Strong organizational skills

Excellent communication skills

Ability to work in fast-paced settings

Educación

High school diploma or GED
