Job summary

Ross Education Holdings, Inc. in Sylvania seeks experienced Medical Assistants to become fully trained instructors for year-round classes. Primary and secondary instructor roles with PRN substitutes, teaching up to 24 students per class, in morning and evening sessions.

The position is part-time, 9–30 hours weekly, with benefits including health, dental, vision, PTO, 401(k), and tuition reimbursement. Candidates must have 3+ years in medical assisting and a national certification or equivalent

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in the medical assisting field with formal training from an accredited institution.
• Must be able to obtain a national certification as medical assistant.
• Applicants with prior teaching or tutoring experience are encouraged to apply.
• Flexibility and a passion to learn and grow within the program.

Responsibilities

• Teach in the Medical Assisting classroom with a maximum of 24 students.
• Deliver lectures and demonstrations using Ross lesson plans and curriculum.
• Part-time position typically 9–30 hours per week.
• Serve as Primary or Secondary Instructor and provide substitutes as needed (PRN).
