Job summary

Ross Education Holdings, Inc. in Benton Harbor, MI, seeks experienced Medical Assistants to train as instructors for year-round classes. This part-time role covers evenings and some day sessions, with a 9-hour weekly commitment and classes capped at 24 students.

As a Primary or Secondary Instructor, you will teach from Ross curricula, deliver demonstrations, and help students develop clinical and administrative skills; morning, afternoon, and evening options are available.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in the medical assisting field and formal training from an accredited institution. Must be able to obtain a national certification as medical assistant.
• Individuals without a formal education, must have a minimum of 5+ years’ experience working in the medical field and a national certification.

Responsibilities

• Teach in the Medical Assisting classroom with a maximum of 24 students, covering clinical and administrative skills.
• Class sessions are 4.5 hours in either day or evening sessions.
• Learning the material and delivering lectures and demonstrations, working from the Ross lesson plans and curriculum.
• This is a part-time position
