Job summary

Ross Education Holdings, Inc. is seeking a part-time Medical Assistant Instructor for the Elyria campus. Morning and evening classes are available, with 9–18 hours per week and paid training. The role includes teaching coursework to a capped class size, aligning with Ross lesson plans and curriculum.

Instructors are expected to deliver lectures, demonstrate clinical and administrative skills, and support student learning across scheduled 4.5-hour sessions, with campus-based operations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in the medical assisting field and formal training from an accredited institution. Must be able to obtain a national certification as medical assistant.
• Individuals without formal education must have a minimum of 5+ years’ experience in the medical field and a national certification.
• Interest in teaching or prior teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Teach in the Medical Assisting classroom with a maximum of 24 students, covering clinical and administrative skills.
• Class sessions are 4.5 hours in either day or evening sessions.
• Learning the material and delivering lectures and demonstrations, working from the Ross lesson plans and curriculum.
