Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in the medical assisting field and formal training from an accredited institution.
• Must be able to obtain a national certification as medical assistant.
• Prior teaching or formal tutoring experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and travel to clinical sites may be required.

Responsibilities

• Teach in the Medical Assisting classroom with a maximum of 24 students, covering clinical and administrative skills.
• Deliver lectures and demonstrations using Ross lesson plans and curriculum.
• Work a Monday-Thursday evening schedule (4.5 hours per session) and be prepared to fill in as needed.
• Support student learning and maintain a professional, supportive classroom environment.
