Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in health-related discipline.
• Valid professional healthcare licensure or certification (MA/RN/LPN).
• At least two years of contemporary healthcare experience focused on medical assisting.
• Eligible for Virginia CTE teaching license with Health/Medical Sciences endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver lessons aligned with state/district standards.
• Instruct Medical Assistant I & II with clinical/administrative focus.
• Incorporate lab, clinical, and work-based learning experiences.
• Maintain safe, compliant lab environment and HIPAA practices.
