Emanate Health in California is seeking a Medical Assistant to prepare patients for provider exams, take vital signs, record patient history, and assist in office procedures. You will administer treatments and injections as ordered and conduct blood collection by venipuncture as needed.

Responsibilities include pre-visit chart review, processing specimens, data entry, and communicating test results to patients.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or 1-2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant in lieu of High School Diploma.
• Completion of Medical Assistant Program required.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire/transfer beneficial.

Responsabilités

• Prepare patients for provider exam and take vital signs.
• Record patient history and assist in office procedures.
• Administer treatments, medications and injections as ordered.
• Perform venipuncture/arterial puncture and blood collection.
• Conduct data entry, specimen processing, and communicate with clients to resolve specimen concerns.
