University of Utah Health Hospitals and Clinics, a part of The University of Utah, seeks a patient-focused Nursing Support staff member at South Jordan Health Center to assist with routine patient care and clerical tasks. This PRN position requires rotating shifts, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, phlebotomy, EKG/ultrasound support, and collaboration with licensed staff.

Mandatory training in infection prevention, CPR, and BLS is provided.

Formación

• Current licenses as listed in job posting or state requirements.
• Ability to obtain RQI eCredential within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to perform phlebotomy and basic patient care tasks.
• Willingness to work variable rotating shifts, including nights and holidays.

Responsabilidades

• Prepares patients for examinations and procedures.
• Reports patient concerns to licensed staff.
• Performs CLIA waved lab tests and reports results.
• Assists with injections, catheterization, and basic procedures.
• Chaperones providers during examinations and assists with procedures.
• Maintains cleanliness of rooms and stock levels.
• Schedules appointments and handles clerical duties.
• Attends mandatory infection prevention and safety training.
• May perform patient phlebotomies and IV access as trained.
• Provides patient education materials to patients and families.
